Description |
THE ACADEMY BY THE SEA/ CAMP
PACIFIC is located on a
sixteen-acre, oceanfront campus
in beautiful Carlsbad,
California. We offer a wide
variety of exciting summer
programs including a five-week
academic program for grades
7-10, a three-week recreational
camp, and three, one-week surf/bodyboard
camps for ages 8-16. All camps
are residential.
•Academic Program- Join us for
our five-week summer academic
boarding program for grades
7-10. Small class sizes,
enhanced study skills, and
individualized teacher attention
all provide for an exceptional
educational experience at our
fun beach setting. Students
participate in classes in the
morning, and recreational
activities each weekday
afternoon. Credit classes and
ESL available. Session offered
June 30 – August 2, 2008. $4795
•Surf & Bodyboard Camp- All
skill levels are welcome at our
beachfront camps. Campers are
taught skills in equipment and
wave selection and basic surf
techniques by experienced
instructors. Group beach
instruction, classroom
instruction, independent
practice, and field trips all
combine for an unforgettable
week! Sessions offered June 22 -
June 28, 2008; June 30 - July 6,
2008; and July 27 – August 2,
2008. $895
•Recreational Camp (surfing
optional) - Throughout our
three-week recreational and
sports based session, our goal
is to have fun, learn new
athletic and recreational
skills, develop strong
friendships, and build self
esteem through positive
interactions, arts & crafts,
sports and field trips. Session
offered July 8 – July 25, 2008.
