Deer Hill hires up to 4 spring interns to help support our spring custom programs. There is a bustling atmosphere at Deer Hill in the spring. Deer Hill has a dynamic spring season of custom programs from schools, private groups and nonprofit organizations from all over the United States . The spring Deer Hill internship revolves around preseason preparations for the Deer Hill summer season as well as our spring custom trips. Responsibilities may include gear inventory and repair, organization of Basecamp facilities, landscaping, and informing enrolled participants of summer details. |

| Qualifications |
Spring Internship Qualifications • We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and competent individuals with the desire to learn more about the outdoor expedition industry. While some previous experience is necessary, we are willing to train interns to a certain degree. • Good communication and phone skills • Previous experience in the field, while not necessary, is a plus • Gear repair (raft/backpack/tent/zipper/etc.) Previous experience a plus • Computer literate--word processing, Filemaker Pro, spreadsheets, database management, Powerpoint • Graphics experience is a plus -- Photoshop, Illustrator, multi-media, web design/site maintenance |

| Benefits |
• $150/month stipend and lodging • Interns may rent and/or purchase equipment from the Deer Hill store at a reduced rate. • In addition, interns may be eligible for pro-deals through the Deer Hill pro-purchase program. • As with all our internships, working with Deer Hill provides the potential for professional development |
